La Rosa comes from farms in the Naranjo district that make up the Naranjo Cooperative.
The Naranjo region in the West Valley of Costa Rica is famous for producing some of the country’s best coffees. Remarkably, just one square kilometer in Naranjo has produced four Cup of Excellence winners!
The co-op purchased their own mill and provides very consistent high quality coffees with delicate, complex flavors in a mild bodied cup. The co-op additionally teaches farmers sustainable farming practices and provides agricultural technical assistance.
