THE ROAST
Each small batch is handcrafted and cared for through out the entire roast cycle. It is an entirely manual process, consisting of a fine dance between the beans, fire, air & time…No automation here! We roast, taste, adjust and repeat till we bring out the best flavors in each coffee we offer you.
In order for the coffee trade to survive, We must invest in our farmers, their community and their families!

At South Side we be believe in balance. Therefore we carefully choose our suppliers in an attempt to bring you the best quality coffee. All the while offering “Peace of Mind” that our suppliers support those who farm this prized little jewel.
Roasting Beans?
How does an MRI Technologist of 25 years go from Medical Imaging Professional to Coffee Roaster? It’s simple; the need of great coffee and the drive to share it with others.
My roasting journey began in June of 2020 during the pandemic, while most businesses were closed or limited. I could not find the quality of coffee that brought me true happiness, so I set out to do so myself. After positive affirmation from friends and family, I decided to start sharing a bit of happiness by donating coffee to deserving healthcare workers during these times.
To say the least, it was a real hit! From there,
South Side Coffee Company was born.
